We are seeking an accent/language trainer to add to our team to work with adult students in one-on-one and small group classes at our Austin office.
Applicant must have some background in speech/communication/language including, but not limited to, a degree in a related area: speech pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or linguistics.
The right person for the job will have excellent written and spoken language skills. Teaching/training/therapy experience is a plus. If you are bilingual (but are also a native speaker of American English) or have learned a second language (even if you’re not fluent), even better!
The job will start with a few hours per week and increase over time. We need someone who is available 10+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility is a must.
The job will involve in-depth training and support. We need someone who is able to work independently, but is excited to learn and grow as part of a collaborative team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Excellent written and spoken language skills
Teaching/training/therapy experience is preferred
Flexible evening/weekend schedule
Bilingual or striving-to-be-bilingual preferred
Background/experience in speech pathology, communication, linguistics, or ESL
